To copy Microsoft CRM Views from one customization file to another you will need the MSCRM View Copy Tool from our website.

Note: This tool is provided as is without any warranty of any kind. Please make sure to create all necessary backups before trying this procedure.

  1. Download the tool from the link above.
  2. Extract the zip file to any directory on your hard disk.
  3. Double click to open the “ASK.ViewCopyTool.exe” executable

  4. First select the xml file that contains the views you wish to copy.
  5. Export the latest set of customizations from CRM and extract the xml file.
  6. Then select the latest xml file from the latest set into the second box.
  7. Click the “Copy Views” button when you have selected both files to create a new xml file with the views you have just copied.
  8. A save dialog will appear select a directory and filename for your newly created customization file.

  9. Click save to create the file.

You can then import this customization file into your CRM.
